Celebrate Your Mother This Mother’s Day

Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
but only one mother the wide world over. This is a poem written by George Cooper.

Remember there is only one mother that you will ever have. One birth mother that is, although there are situations where you grow in your mother’s heart and not under it. Whatever type of mother you have, there is no time quite like Mother’s Day to tell your mother how much you love, adore and appreciate her. This Mother’s Day commemorate the occasion by showing her quite how much you love and appreciate all she has sacrificed and done for you right from the moment  she set eyes on you.

Not only did she teach you to speak, walk, changed your diapers, nurtured you when you were ill and took care of you even when you were not being all that nice, your mother loves and forgives anything and everything you do, and will always be your biggest fan and friend.

This Mother’s Day remember all the little things and all the big things your mother has done for you throughout the years. Now that you are grown, you can still make her a lovely card with beautiful words, but go the extra mile, take time out by spoiling her by taking your mother out for lunch or breakfast, give her a day at the spa, lovely flowers,  jewellery, a teddy, a makeover, some lovely things for her kitchen if she loves to cook or an experience that will make her really happy.

If your mother loves the ballet, get her tickets for the ballet or a concert, plus a sumptuous dinner so she doesn’t have to cook.

Can you add all the meals your mother has cooked for you, the lunches she has packed for you, the uniforms and clothes she has bought for you? She was there when you had your first kiss, and when you had your heart broken by your first love. Your mother is irreplaceable. Where would you be without your in-house psychologist, driver, cook, confidante and friend?

Your mother is this and more. She deserves everything money can buy. This Mother’s Day say thank you to your mom for all she has done for you.
